We might only be one month into 2024, but we’ve already gone and got ourselves a new client! We’re delighted to share the news that we are now representing the premium greenhouse brand, Alitex.
Creators of the most beautiful Victorian greenhouses in the world (we dare you to disagree!), we’ll be working closely with Alitex to put the brand at the heart of gardening media conversations and further cement its position as the leading designer and manufacturer in the market.
Known for its beautiful bespoke builds and popular National Trust collection, the family-owned British business is one that we’re honoured to be partnered with. Headed up by husband and wife duo, Tom and Nelly Hall, not only does Alitex create simply spectacular glasshouses, but the business genuinely puts its people, purpose and planet first. From tailored development plans for each employee and on-site sustainability initiatives, to local community activities and team charity events, the company truly has an unwavering passion for everything that grows – and we don’t just mean in the greenhouse!
You most likely already know and love Alitex – its greenhouses can be found all over the country at locations such as Lime Wood Hotel and Spa, The Pig venues and several National Trust sites. Its structures have been championed by the likes of Alan Titchmarsh, and more than a few famous faces boast their own sitting centre stage at home.
So as you can imagine, we have been more than a little excited to get stuck in! To kick things off, earlier this week we headed to Torberry Farm, West Sussex, to explore the gorgeous grounds and immerse ourselves in the Alitex world. After discussing our plans and goals for 2024 and meeting with Tom, Nelly and MD Andy, we had a look around the new office building and on-site greenhouses (queue major office envy!).
We were then taken on a full factory tour by production manager Gary – seeing just how slick the process was from start to finish was more than a little impressive! Next, we met with the company’s learning and development coordinator, Jo, to gain a deeper understanding of just how important its “people first” culture is, followed by lunch with brand advocate and garden designer, Joanne Edmonds, and a session with its SEO agency Damteq.
After a jam-packed and inspirational day, we hit the road to head back to Derby buzzing to get our plans underway and start telling the Alitex story.
If you’re working on any greenhouse or grow your own features in the coming months, we can help with high-res imagery, expert advice, product information, and much more! Nelly, Tom and several Alitex customers are available for exclusive interviews and case studies, and we’ll soon be sharing some exciting company updates, too! Keep an eye on the Alitex digital newsroom for the latest news and advice, and send any requests to hello@honestcommunications.co.uk – we can’t wait to hear from you!
